Our Expertise

Our team has experience and knowledge across many areas of brewing - tap into this when you work with us.

Alc-free beer

We are known for our expertise in this area, being one of the first breweries in the UK to brew low and no beers. A full but limited fermentation gives a flavourful brew alongside other tried-and-tested techniques that create body and stability. Our own alc-free IPA Green Light has won many medals inc. UK's Best.

Gluten-free beer

We make beer gluten-free through the addition of a specialist enzyme that breaks up the protein chain. This means beer made with barley can be classified as gluten-free, with no negative effects. We have made hundreds of batches this way and regularly lab test so you can go to market with full confidence.

Functional beers

Functional beers are no or low beers enhanced with adaptogens, nootropics, vitamins, electrolytes, or dietary fibre to promote relaxation, calm, or focus. With knowledge of ingredient properties we'll  help you balance flavour and functionality, ensuring your customers will enjoy drinking your beer as much as the effects.

Vegan beer

We know how to get crystal-clear beer, sweetness and mouthfeel without using animal-derived products.

A combination of technical process and alternative adjuncts can be used in place of those older methods that use animal products, for a modern, high-spec and cruelty-free beer.

Specialty/flavoured beers

We have developed dozens of speciality and flavoured beers and have the know-how to bring your vision to fruition. Whether it's fruit, aromatics or other specialist additions, we master their unique properties and balance them with the malt and hops for a more-ish brew.

Lager - crisp perfection

A lager is the true test of a brewery, because the delicate hopping means there is nowhere to hide. We have been making gold medal-winning lagers for over a decade, and the secret is plenty of tank time to ensure that requisite crispness. Classic lager? If you want, or we can precision engineer pilsner, helles, vienna, dunkel or dopplebock .

Dry hopping

We use a mutli-stage hopping process to get the complexity of all the aromas from our hops, whether they are cones, pellets or oils. We are experts at highlighting particular flavour compounds through temperature and timing.
